Ati Radeon HD 5870 and HD 5850: Pictures of Sapphire cards - Update: XFX model
New pictures that are said to show the first HD 5870 and HD 5850 cards of Ati's board partner Sapphire have been published.
The new pictures of Ati's forthcoming Radeon HD 5000 series that have been published recently probably show the first model of one of the graphics card manufacturers. The pictures show a HD 5870 and a HD 5850 which apparently follow Ati's reference design - despite the Sapphire sticker on the cover.
As one can see on the pictures the cards have two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. The PCB is - rather untypical for Ati cards - black and the cooling is dealt with by a dual sot solution. Apparently the outer appearance of the DirectX 11 graphics cards only differs in the length of the PCB. As to be expected the Radeon HD 5850 is the shorter one. According to TechConnect there is no new information besides the pictures.

After the pictures of the Sapphire cards there now are images of an Hd 5870 from XFX. Apparently the cards only have a different sticker. You can find the pictures in our gallery.
