Update: August 20, 2009
Asus has released new information about the ROG Matrix GTX 285. Like the Mars the Matrix is part of the Republic of Gamers series. The graphics card offers a real-time surveillance: Five LEDs (red, violet, blue, turquoise and green) indicate the current workload. Another highlight of the Matrix GTX 285 is said to be the iTracker2 software. According to Asus the new version writes settings for frequencies, timings and voltages permanently into the BIOS of the graphics card. With a BIOS reset function and a Safe Mode users can boot their system after a failed overclocking attempt and the program automatically restores the original BIOS and default settings.
The graphics card is said to cost 350 Euros and will become available in late August.
