Asus high-end HD 4890 with dual fan and modified PCB
Many companies introduce OC versions of new graphics cards. Asus takes another step and doesn't only modify the design of the new RV790 based high-end graphics card.
With a custom board design Asus apparently wants to attract some attention. The company doesn't only use a new cooling solution with six heatpipes and two fans, but also optimized capacitors that make a more stable GPU power supply possible.
Rumors say that Asus wants to exceed the virtual 1,000 MHz GPU limit with this card. According to the report at nordichardware.com there aren't any further details about the frequencies or the release date yet.
