Asus shows new Geforce GTS 250 and an energy efficient 9600 GT
During the Cebit buildup we already took a look at the Asus booth in Hall 22, where we found the energy efficient versions of the Geforce GTS 250 and Geforce 9600 GT.
At the Cebit Asus will present new Geforce graphics cards. Behind the panes, most of which are sittl covered, we were able to find a Geforce GTS 250 "Dark Knight” (dark anodized cooler with four heatpipes) with the clock speeds 775/1,950/1,180 MHz for GPU, Shader and VRAM. The latter one was rather small with 512 MiByte.
Asus also has an energy efficient version of the Geforce 9600 GT on display. This card doesn't need additional energy from the power supply unit. Therefore the clock speeds have been lowered to 600/1,500/900 MHz (default: 650/1,500/900 MHz)
See the five (now seven) pictures in our gallery for details.
Update: The covers have been removed and we can deliver two more pictures of the unveiled Geforce GTS 250 Dark Knight.
Currently most booths at the Cebit are still under construction but PC Games Hardware already is on the site and delivers the first impression of the trade fair.
