Zotac offers overclocked Geforce 9800 GTX+
It seems like a plus (+) wasn't enough for the graphics card producer Zotac and so the company decided, according to techconnect, to create an ex factory overclocked version.
Actually the plus version is a "normal” Geforce 9800 GTX with increased clock speeds. Zotac set the clock speeds even higher with their AMP! Edition of the 9800 GTX+. Thus the 55 nanometers G92b GPU runs with 750 Megahertz (instead of 738 MHz), while the 128 streaming processors are clocked to 1,890 Megahertz (instead of 1,836 MHz). The memory clock speed is increased from 1,100 Megahertz to 1,150 Megahertz.
Until now Zotac did not give away a price for the Geforce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition, but techconnect estimates, that the card will cost about 250 US-Dollar.
