First picture of a Geforce GTX 295 available
The first picture of a Geforce GTX 295 emerged on the web. The card is said to have two GT200b GPUs.
VR-zone.com published the first picture of a Geforce GTX 295. The image shows the graphics card with two DVI connectors and one HDMI port. The device is designed like a sandwich, with two PCBs enclosing the GPUs and the other components - this design has been used for the Geforce 9800 GX2 already.
With 1,792 MiByte overall memory each GPU has access to 896 MiByte. How many processing cores will be placed on the Geforce GTX 295 is still unknown. Power supply is said to be realized with one 8-pin and one 6-pin connector.
The Geforce GTX 295 will possibly be introduced to the market in early January 2009.
