Is AMD going to introduce a new All-in-Wonder graphics card?
According to engadget.com the two manufacturers Diamond and Visiontek will release a new version of the multimedia card to the US market.
The PCI E 2.0 All-in-Wonder-HD is clocked to 725/600 MHz. It is unknown if a RV670 or a RV770 is used - the clock speeds indicate a RV670. Of course the UVD (Universal Video Decoder), which can decode MPEG2, VC-1 and H.246 material, is integrated. Clear QAM is supported, too.
There are one Dual Link DVI connector, a HDMI port, which supports 5.1 Sound output, and additional video connectors. The card is certified for AMD Live! And Windows Vista. The All-in-Wonder-HD will be available for 199 US-Dollar at the end of July.
