This decision of Mushkin offers some advantages for the distributors. The full power supply unit product array of Topower will now be available in Europe soon. Furthermore the costs and waiting times caused by RMA transactions are reduced. Stephan Eisenstein, Mushkin’s vice president, favors the decision: “Everyone, from the customer over the distributor to the producers, benefits from the cooperation of the two companies. The advantages are obvious.”
Mushkin was founded in 1994 and made a name for itself by supplying high quality memory modules. In the meantime the company expanded to the power supply unit market.
Topower was founded in 1986 in Taiwan and produces 65,000 power supply units every month. For 2009 the delivery of 1,000,000 devices is planned. Topower is one of the world’s biggest producers of PSUs. Topower produces 65,000 PSUs every month. (picture: Mushkin)
