Asus introduces three new CPU coolers
The guys from Computerbase had a chat with Asus's product manager at Computex and got some info about the cooler trio.
The first cooler is the Royal Knight, which will hit the markets in September and uses the classical top flow principle. Its body is made of copper and the whole thing weighs about 750 grams and has six heatpipes. The fins are cooled by a frameless 110 mm fan, which runs at 1,200 rpm.
Beneath the black cover the Axe Square hides a nickel-plated top flow cooler with five 6 mm heatpipes. Combined with, at max, 1,400 rpm of the 120 mm fan, this cooler is said to be able to cope with up to 180 watt TDP.
