Thermalright: New coolers, fans and from now on power supply
Among the new computer cases PCGH already reported about, Thermalright has introduced some new coolers, too.
The True Black 120 is based on the Ultra 120 Extreme, which Thermalright nickel-plated in black color. Besides the color the specifications are identical with those of the Ultra 120. That's why the black cooler is interesting for gamers and case modders, who concentrate on a smooth optic.
The AXP 140 is intended for the use in HTPCs. With its 12 heatpipes the cooler is supposed to work together with a 140 millimeter fan for an excellent cooling performance and in addition to convince people with its flat construction.
The T-Rad2 is a VGA cooler, which also has a flat design. Therefore the cooler plus a graphics card - but without fans - need a single slot only. It can be equipped with two 92 mm fans or a single 120 mm fan.
In the watercooling sector a passive radiator was on display. But it actually depends on the feedback of the convention visitors if this product will be released to the market. In the first instance the device is designed for passive use, but it can be equipped with three 120 mm fans. The XWNB 1 is a waterblock for the Northbridge, which looks quite similar to the XWB 01.
The TR 360 is something special, since it isn't intended for the PC market alone. It can also be put onto the CPU and the GPU of Microsoft's Xbox 360. The cooling performance of the small cooler is said to be impressive.
While talking to PC Games Hardware, Thermalright indicated plans to add power supply units with an ingenious cooling system to the array of products.
