Danamics introduces the first liquid metal CPU cooler
We first heard about the cooing solution of the Danish company Danamics in April and now the system seems to be marketable and ready to be released.
The Danamics LM10 looks just like a normal CPU cooler, but actually its technology is quite revolutionary. Liquid metal is electromagnetically pumped through the five heatpipes, which transfer the heat away from the cooler. A fan takes the heat of the fins.
Unfortunately Danamics keep their lips shut about further details of the LM10. The only metal that is liquid at room temperature is Mercury - the use of this metal is doubtful nevertheless. The electromagnetic pump is said to work silent and without abrasion and also need less than one Watt. Regarding performance great things have been announced, too: The LM10 is said to be the world best air cooler and also be able to take it up with water cooling systems.
Until now a release date has not been revealed.
