NZXT Panzerbox: Compact aluminum case announced
NZXT offers a compact aluminum case called Panzerbox which offers enough space for current hardware components. Even water cooling is said to be possible.
The NZXT Panzerbox of the Californian case manufacturer wants to offer enough space for hardware as well as small dimensions and little weight. The case has a black aluminum Mesh design and is said to feature a very high airflow.
The NZXT Panzerbox comes with dimensions of (w) 244 x (h) 445 x (d) 445 millimeters and has a weight of 6,5 kilogram. The case concept should offer enough space for hardware. The removable tray makes the installation of a Full ATX motherboard easy. Even high end 10.5'' graphics cards and oversized processor coolers are possible.
The Panzerbox offers three external 5.25 '‘ drive bays and four internal 3.5'' drive bays. In the front and rear end you will find two 190 mm fans and a 120 mm fans cares for ventilation. The system can even handle water cooling - two water tubes could be routed in from behind the case and a dual radiator can be installed onto the case top.
On the top the case provides two USB, an audio and one eSATA port. The 190 mm fan under the top is also able to cool hard drives.
The NZXT Panzerbox can be pre-ordered in specialized retailers or online shops for 199 Euro including VAT. NZXT is scheduled for release for June 12, 2009.
