Fracture: no PC version due to missing CPU/GPU horsepower
Our colleagues from Videogamer.com had a chat with Fracture's assistant producer Jeffrey Gullett. In a nutshell, the PC version is a no-show due to the missing GPU and CPU horsepower of most of the PCs.
"We looked at the PC, but there were a few different issues when it came to PC, like the game is actually incredibly demanding for processing power and graphic power, so we really sort of require pretty much top of the line PCs to run it at the performance we would require it."
So this is the second time after Star Wars: The Force Unleashed that developers tend to consoles over PC because they seem to have problems to make a scalable game for the PC platform with its' different setups.
