Empire: Total War - Problems with Steam and Nvidia drivers
Due to problems with Valve's online platform Steam Empire: Total War can sometimes cause errors before starting the game and Nvidia's current Geforce drivers can cause trouble during the game.
Did you buy Empire: Total War via Steam and you cannot download the game because the download got stuck in an infinite loop or Empire is not available? According to Valve those two problems are a thing of the past with the Steam update of March 7. As Sega additionally announces on its website another known error of Empire: Total War is a sometimes recurring incompatibility with Geforce drivers which are newer than version 182.06. The publisher states that they could not be tested and refers to the Nvidia homepage and a rollback to the Geforce 182.06 respectively.
