Razer Imperator: Gamer mouse with adjustable side buttons
The Imperator is Razer's latest gaming mouse. The device is supposed to deliver a new level of ergonomic and comfort with adjustable side buttons. It will be released in December.
With the Razer Imperator the specialist for gaming peripherals wants to get rid of something that annoys many gamers: The position of the side buttons. Depending on the size of your hand and fingers those buttons are not always in the ideal position. And that's where Razer cracks in with the Imperator. The side buttons can be moved back and forth. The thumb rest is furthermore supposed to improve grip and control.
Robert ‘Razerguy' Karkoff, president of Razer, said that ergonomics and control had been basic targets during the deelopmet of the Imperator. Furthermore the Imperator is said to be the first muse with adjustable side buttons which is supposed to give gamers the option to customize the mouse to their likings.
The Razer Imperator is designed for right-handed use and is equipped with the Razer Precision 3.5G laser sensor with a scan rate of 5,600 dpi and a latency of one millisecond. For about 70 Euros the Imperator is supposed to hit the market in December. Below you can find the technical specifications (according to Razer), a video and pictures of the Imperator.
