Logitech: Performance Mouse MX and Anywhere Mouse MX announced
Logitech just introduced two new PC mice. The Performance Mouse MX and the Anywhere Mouse MX both use Logitech's Darkfield Laser Tracking.
The Darkfield Laser Tracking technology allows the Anywhere Mouse MX and the Performance Mouse MX to work on almost any surface, even glass that is at least 4 millimeters thick. Both mice also come with Logitech's new Unifying receiver that can be used for additional compatible devices.
While the Anywhere Mouse MX is primarily intended for mobile usage in combination with laptops or netbooks - and thus is of rather small and handy dimensions - the Performance Mouse MX is a bigger, ergonomically designed device for the desktop.
Besides the two main buttons the Anywhere Mouse MX also offers a 4-way mouse wheel and two thumb buttons on the left side. The mouse also comes with batteries and a sheath for safe transport. Logitech specified the price of the Anywhere Mouse MX with 79.99 Euros.
The Performance Mouse MX is intended for right hand use and offers an ergonomically design with a big thumb rest. In addition to the two common main buttons Logitech added four programmable side buttons as well as a 4-way wheel which offers two scroll modes. The batteries of the Performance Mouse MX can be charged with a Micro USB cable that is included in the range of delivery. Logitech's recommended price for this office mouse is 99.99 Euros.
Logitech just recently launched a lot of new products like the new G500 Gaming Mouse or the G27 Racing Wheel. See the product pages of the Performance Mouse MX and the Anywhere Mouse MX for more information.
