Razer Mamba: Retail version pictured
Today Razer's latest gaming mouse reached our office. The name of the device is as usual taken from a snake. The Mamba delivers high dpi resolution and can be used wired or wireless.
According to official specifications the Mamba delivers a resolution of up to 5,600 dpi and works wired or wireless. The user can switch between the two modes. For the wireless connection a 2.4 GHz technology is used. The Mamba can also be connected to the PC via USB to preserve the battery.
Razer emphasizes that with a latency of only 1 millisecond Mamba has the lowest response time of all wireless mice up to now. Therefore the mouse is said to be a serious alternative for gamers.
When Razer introduced the Mamba at the CES, we already had the chance to make some hands-on test with the mouse. See Razer Mamba: Hands-on test of the gaming mouse for our impressions. A full review of the mouse will as soon as time permits.
