Duke Nukem Forever: Another milestone - but which one?
Thanks to Twitter the whole world knows that the Duke Nukem Forever developers have achieved another milestone in their endless project.
Duke Nukem Forever is a classic project - and gamers really need good nerves since the title has been in development for more than ten years now. In his Twitter feed 3D-Realms CEO George Broussard revealed a couple of days ago that Duke Nukem Forever would achieve an important milestone soon. The original milestone had 800-900 tasks and now only a few would be left. In project management milestones are interim goals on the way of completing a project. By the way: PC Games Hardware has a Twitter feed as well.
As already mentioned the news is not brand-new and PC Games Hardware deliberately did not publish it at once. Why? Is a Duke Nukem Forever news not worth reporting about any more? Not at all. But we wonder why the whole world reacts like mad to this statement. For Broussard does not mention how many milestones remain on the long way of completion. So we at PC Games Hardware keep calm and wait for the "It's done”.
We would really appreciate it if the Duke developers published new screenshots instead of status updates of their to-do list. For those who cannot wait to see Duke: Here are our latest screenshots.
