PC Games Hardware has already reported about the technology and the performance of Dragon Age: Origins. We also published maxed out high-res screenshots on a Radeon HD 5870. Now we took some more pictures with a Geforce GTX 280 running the game at 1920 x 1200 pixels with 16xS-TSSAA (2x2 OGSSAA + 4x SGMSAA + 4x TSGSSAA), a LoD Bias of "-1” and 32:1 HQ AF. On our system with an overclocked processor (Core i5-750 at 3.6 GHz) and an overclocked graphics card (756/1512/1296 MHz) the framerate usually varied between 40 and 50 fps and rarely dropped below 30 (only if a lot of Alpha Tests, especially on the vegetation, were displayed). In our gallery you can find previews of the pictures downsized to 1280 x 800 pixels.

A first mod is supposed to be ready within this week and is said to increase the performance without reducing the visual quality.
