Dragon Age: Origins - Background
With Dragon Age: Origins developer Bioware introduces another great role-playing game to the market - possibly one of the best this year. For the new RPG Bioware developed the Eclipse Engine which utilizes some parts of Neverwinter Nights' Aurora Engine and the dialog system of Mass Effect. Besides that Dragon Age: Origins offers several interesting graphics features like Ambient Occlusion, Bump Mapping and diverse Post effects like heat haze or Bloom. Furthermore the so called Face Morphing is used to make the faces of the characters more realistic.
