Things are on the move at Blizzard: The developer has published screenshots of Diablo 3 and its user interface for the first time.
Blizzard has been known for keeping its new games a secret as possible for as long as possible. Now the developer published new screenshots of the third part of the Diablo series and revealed information about the user interface.
With the aid of three inventory areas the "Inventory Tetris" shall be avoided. So objects will be divided in big, small and quest items. At the beginning the player only has a small number of storage areas which he can increase in the course of the game. This method is known from World of Warcraft. Not only the bags but also the skill tree refers to the online role playing game.
Since the release date of Diablo 3 has not been fixed yet we assume that the interface might be changed and therefore our pictures only present the current and not the final state.
