Tales of Valor uses the same engine as Company of Heroes version 1.7. Regardless of DsD10, soft Shadows, A2C Anti Aliasing and Per Pixel Lighting the graphics look a little dusty, but still convince with a richness of details. Another familiar piece of the game is the integrated benchmark sequence which we use for our test until we find a more appropriate scene.

Currently modern Geforce cards are doing better in company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, but nevertheless any Radeon from the HD 4830 or HD 4850 delivers smooth framerates. Although the engine benefits from a dual-core CPU, you won't receive more frames per second from a quad-core processor.
