Bound in Blood: Call of Juarez Prequel with DirectX 10.1?
Ubisoft announced a new game of the Call of Juarez series called Bound in Blood. Developer Techland wants to use the Chrome Engine 4, which is capable of DirectX 10.1.
News about the Western Shooter Call of Juarez: As publisher Ubisoft announced via press release, there will be a prequel of Call of Juarez with the name Bound in Blood. The game is supposed to be released in 2009 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Techland, who already made Call of Juarez, are responsible for Bound in Blood.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood takes place in the war-torn Georgia and the Aztec ruins of Mexico, says Ubisoft. The player can take the role of both McCall brothers.
The Chrome Engine 4 fully supports the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3 and the PC (DirectX 10.1). More than 100 developers are working at Techland, but not all of them are assigned to Bound in Blood.
