Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2: Infinity Ward talks about co-op mode
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will, unlike Call of Duty: World at War, not have a co-op mode for the single-player campaign. Infinity Ward now explained the situation.
Up to now there is only little information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but it has been confirmed that Infinity Ward will not integrate a full co-op mode for the single-player campaign. Many fans had hoped for this feature since the option was available in Call of Duty: World at War. Now Rob Bowling told Videogamer why the co-op mode is missing.
According to the Infinity Ward man Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will have a Special Ops mode for two players. We take the moments that work really well with co-op, we bring them out and we put them in Special Ops, he said and also explained that two players is the magic number for co-op. That's when it stayed really fun and intense without becoming a clusterf**k of things. We just found that two-players was the most fun.
