AMD Phenom II X3 740 and Phenom II X4 820 under way
Apparently AMD adds two new processors to the product array. The AM3 CPUs Phenom II X3 740 and Phenom II X4 are said to become available for less than 200 USD.
It seems like AMD wants to introduce two new processors to the market. Both CPUs, the triple-core Phenom II X3 740 with 3.0 GHz as well as the quad-core Phenom II X4 with 2.8 GHz, are intended for the socket AM3, have a 95W TDP and 6 MiByte L3 cache. Although exact prices and a date for the market introduction have not been released yet, TCMagzine supposes that the new processors will cost less than 200 USD.
