New Intel processors are on the way: Q8300, E7500, E5300 and E1500
Intel means business: Only recently new low- and middle-class CPUs showed up on a roadmap and now they are listed in the prices search of our German website.
The Core 2 Quad Q8300, with 2.5 GHz and 333 MHz FSB is the first one. The Yorkfield processor comes with 2x 2 MiByte L2 cache, 95 watt TDP and will form the new low-end sector of the quad-core CPUS with the already released Q8200.
With 2.93 GHz and 266 MHz FSB the Core 2 Duo E7500 is the next one on the list. The dual-core has 3 Mibyte L2 cache (shared). On a lower performance and price level we see the Pentium Dual-Core E5300 that will be released with 2.6 GHz, 200 MHz FSB and 2 MiByte L3 cache. The TDP of the Wolfdale CPU is 65 watt. The last introduction is the 65 nm Allendale based Intel Celeron E1500 with 2.2 GHZ and 512 KiByte L2 cache. This one also has a 65 watt TDP.
Our colleagues at Computerbase report about the expected prices for the new CPUs. According to them the E7500 will be available for $133, the E5300 for $86 and the E1500 for $53. The Q8200 is said to cost $224.
