New Phenom X4 CPUs: 9950 BE, 9350e and 9151e
Hot Hardware learned that AMD will deliver three additional processors with four cores to the market in Q3. There are even benchmark results.
With the Phenom X4 9950 BE AMD delivers to fastest model up to now. 2.6 Gigahertz and 2 MiByte L2 respectively L3 cache cause a 140 watt TDP. If the power of the Agena CPU isn't enough for you, use the capabilities of the Black Edition and overclock it with the free multiplier. Hot Hardware got as far as 3.1 Gigahertz.
The X4 9350e and the X4 9151e arrive with a 65 watt TDP. The clock speed lies between 1.8 respectively 2.0 GHz, all the other specifications, despite the fixed multiplier, are equal to those of the X4 9950 BE.
The two bigger CPUs deliver performance in accordance to their clock speeds. The X4 9950 BE is competing with Intel's Q6600, the X4 9350e though often is beaten by Intel's E6600. They also have a way bigger power consumption than their competitors.
