AMD presents the energy-saving Athlon X2 4450e and 4050e CPUs
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) extends the portfolio of energy-saving processors with the Athlon X2 4450e and the Athlon X2 4050e.
The two dual-cores are manufactured with a 65 nanometer technique. The core clock speeds are set to 2,100 (Athlon X2 4050e) respectivly 2,300 Megahertz (Athlon X2 4450e). AMD specifies the TDP (Thermal Design Power) with 45 watt. At first sight the new models are different to their predecessors Athlon X2 BE-2350 and Athlon X2 BE-2400 only in stepping and price.
