Brink: Bethesda releases four gameplay videos
On the last E3 Splash Damage announced Brink, a new First Person Shooter with innovative technology. Now four gameplay videos have been released.
Bethesda has released new video material of the forthcoming First Person Shooter highlight Brink. The game is scheduled for release in fall 2010 and is going to be published for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Games for Windows (PC). Development is done in London by Splash Damage.
In the first video Game Director Paul Wedgewood uses the airport level to explain the total liberty of movement provided by the S.M.A.R.T. system (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain). In doing so he also reveals some interesting details about the basic principles of Brink and the character customization.
In the other three parts of the gameplay videos, you can see some real action taking place in the "Container City” level. Paul Wedgewood shows weapons, strategies as well as level design and demonstrates the intense gameplay in the combats you will encounter in Brink.
Some time ago PC Games Hardware already had a chance to interview the developers at Splash Damage and received some interesting information about the technical base of the Brink.
