Blur: Developer Diary of the Action Racing game - Update: Release delayed
The developers of Blur at Bizarre Creations have released a developer diary and explain what makes Blur stand out of the racing game crowd.
The Action Racing game Blur is currently developed by Bizarre Creations, the makers of Project Gotham Racing. The main focus was laid on the fun and the title is supposed to outpace traditional racing games with its mixture of special effects, weapons, boosts and items which can be used to beat your opponents.
According to the latest information Blur is planned to be released in fall 2009 for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. For more information see the official Blur website or watch the Developer Diary video below.

Update: August 21, 2009
Activision officially confirmed the release date of Blur. According to the press release the racing game will be published for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 6, 2009.
Update: September 22, 2009
Publisher Activision Blizzard delays Blur to 2010. The original release date was scheduled for November 2009. The reason for the delay is the plan to expand the online mode. Another reason might also be the strong competition. NfS Shift has just been released, Forza Motorsport 3 will be available end of October and Gran Turismo 5 is in the starting blocks as well.
