Geforce GTX 280 Triple SLI reaches 21.350 points in 3DMark Vantage
VR-Zone got enough GT200 cards to assemble a Triple SLI system and run benchmarks on it.
Futuremark's 3DMark Vantage was the first benchmark they ran. The three Geforce GTX 280 weren't overclocked, but the clock speed of the Intel QX9650 was increased to 4.0 Gigahertz. The score is quite respectable: 21.350 points. If the CPU is running at default clock speed, the system "only” reaches 17.759 points. For comparison: One of our own test systems with a 4 GHz Quad Core and two Geforce 9800 GX2 got 16.410 points.
