Futuremark DirectX 11 benchmark is under way
According to official information the developers at Futuremark are working on a new benchmark that supports DirectX 11.
Futuremark is working on a new benchmark that utilizes the new DirectX 11 API. Since the company's products of the 3DMark series have quite popular, the developers are now - in times of Windows 7 and AMD's first DirectX 11 graphics cards - on a new, up-to-date tool to test graphics cards and processors.
Expreview now learned from Futuremark president Oliver Baltuch that the company is hard at work creating beautiful looking art and fantastic code which will be at the leading edge of technology.
Detailed information on when the new benchmark will be released was not given though. You might perhaps like to take a look at our article about futuremark's forthcoming zero gravity shooter Shattered Horizon (Shattered Horizon: System requirements unveiled, release date confirmed).
