Battlefield 1943 for consoles in June, PC version in September
Electronic Arts has announced Battlefield 1943 for June 2009. The PC version of the new multiplayer shooter (up to 24 players per server) will be delayed until September.
EA announced Battlefield 1943 for June, but only for the consoles at first. The PC version is delayed to September. The time will be use for additional development in order to present an appealing PC game and not only a console port said Gordon Van Dyke at Voodoo Extreme.
When it is launched, Battlefield 1943 will be available as a download version only. The price for all platforms is 15 US Dollar. On the Xbox Live Marketplace it will cost 1,200 MS points.
