Batman: Arkham Asylum - New Physx video - Update: DLC confirmed for all platforms
Eidos had announced that Batman: Arkham Asylum will support GPU Physx. Now a video showing the additional physics effects has been revealed.

According to Eidos the PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum supports GPU Physx if the system is equipped with a compatible Nvidia graphics card and the appropriate Windows Live (version 3.0 probably). The additional effects are said to be used for fog and smoke as well as destructible floor tiles and shattered glass.
While the additional effects are rather unobtrusive in normal levels, they will be a lot of Physx effects in the boss fights, says Nvidia. The Physx trailer already shows some of the effects, but a recently revealed video clearly shows the difference between Batman: Arkham Asylum with activated and deactivated Physx.

Update: September 9, 2009
An Eidos employee confirmed in the official forum that there will be Downloadable Content for Batman: Arkham Asylum. Up to now rumors only deal with additional content for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but now the DLC is supposed to come for PC, too - and just a short time after the game is released.
