Asus: Radeon HD4850 with 1,024 MiByte ready to go
At the official release date at July, 25th we will be flooded with uncountable press releases dealing with AMD's HD 48x0 series. The obligatory versions with the doubled video memory won't be missed for sure.
According to Techconnect, Asus for example, is working on such a model, which runs by the name EAH4850/HTDI/1 G and is supposed to attract customers with 1,024 MiByte GDDR2 memory.
Contrary to the amount, the clock speed of the GDDR3 memory is unchanged. The GPU clock speed of 625 MHz is the same as with the default specifications, too. The graphics card is supposed to be available shortly after the official release.
